Apple consistently enhances the iPhone’s loudspeaker audio quality, and we anticipate another incremental improvement with the iPhone 16, though nothing groundbreaking.
As for haptics, they’ve been exceptional since the introduction of the Taptic Engine on the iPhone 6s, so no major changes are expected in this area either.

Battery Life and Charging

The iPhone 16 retains a similar size and form factor as the iPhone 15, leaving little room for a significantly larger battery. However, rumors suggest a small battery upgrade, with the iPhone 16 possibly getting a 3,561mAh battery (a 6% increase over the iPhone 15’s 3,349mAh). Apple claims 22 hours of video playback, a 10% improvement, though audio playback remains unchanged at 80 hours.

Charging sees a notable boost with MagSafe, now supporting 25W (up from 15W) when using a 30W power brick. Wired charging remains at 20W, making wireless charging faster for the first time. The iPhone 16 also supports Qi2 standard.
