iPhone SE 4Apple CEO Tim Cook confirmed a launch event on February 19, likely unveiling the iPhone SE 4.
Aside from the presumed slimmest iPhone ever, one of the Apple devices that is rumored to get the fans over excited as well will be the iPhone SE 4 and for good reason as well. Apple Inc. has been teasing their fans with the prospect of releasing new models of their devices but CEO Tim Cook took that to a whole new level by teasing a launch event on February 19. The teaser didn’t reveal much about the product that is to be revealed, but the Myke SE 4 might just do the trick so let us hold onto that hope.
Mark Gurman, an Apple analyst that is often trusted, believes as well that this week marks the launch of the iPhone SE 4. Previously he had also stated that iPhone SE 4 can be expected to launch last week, but he’s changed his mind, and now thinks it’s coming this week. Not only for gameplay, but he also seems to think we are going to hear the announcement for Apple Vision pro very soon. Can that take place at the event as well? Only time will tell.
iPhone SE 4: Major upgrades expected:
As it happens, people expect depth with the upgrades of the iPhone SE 4. To no one’s surprise, the device is speculated to stray away from the typical tiny iPhone SE design with its thick bezels. Instead, as expected from the SE 4, we are told that it will feature an iPhone 14 design, which would include an OLED display and the long-awaited move from Touch ID to Face ID. There could also be a dynamic island on the phone, but the jury is still out on that one.
With that, the iPhone SE 4 is reported to also contain the A18 chipset, which, spoiler alert, requires 8GB RAM. OnePlus could also provide power to Apple Intelligence. If this is to be accepted as the thuth, then this would make iPhone SE 4 the most affordable device with iPhone AI features. However, there are also reports stating that it might even opt for the A17 Pro chipset. While that is not the most up to date, it will still mean the device could be packing the chip from the iPhone 15 Pro and –– it would still feature Apple Intelligence.
There are some features that the iPhone SE 4 may lift from its predecessor and some features that are said to be settled indeed. For example, the iPhone SE 4 is believed to possess the same rear camera as its predecessor but the sensors have been upgraded from 12 to 48 for the primary sensor. The iPhone SE 4 is rumored, also, to feature a front-facing camera that is 24-megapixel in nature. The new iPhone SE is likely to get an upgrade in the display department too.
Aside from the bump in size, the iPhone SE 4 is also expected to get rid of the basic LCD screen used in the iPhone SE 3 and replace it with an OLED. That is a key factor which sets the phone apart from looking like a cut version of the flagship iPhones. The iPhone SE 4 is expected to include an OLED display with upgraded dimensions set at 6.1 inches, along with support for 60Hz refresh rate.
