Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 launched:
Beats has announced that the PowerBeats Pro 2 will be available in India very soon. Starting February 13, the Pro 2 premium earbuds designed specifically for fitness lovers will be available for open sale. But what really sets the Pro 2 apart is a single feature that helps to set it apart from every other premium earbuds. each bud is equipped with a heart rate sensor that can track and report heart rate while on a workout.
Aside from the new feature, the Pro 2 buds now come with enhancements to the ear hook, along with considerable upgrades to the sound performance, battery life, and call performance. Another great improvement is Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and the Transparency mode. Beats, which is owned by Apple, is in a sense integrating the specific needs of athletes or fitness lovers into the Apple AirPods Pro 2.
In a way, it also seems like the AirPods Pro 3 that this company has developed. Beats announced that the Powerbeats Pro 2 can be preordered as of now from the Apple India website. It will be ready for open sale in a few days in four color options: Jet Black, Quick Sand, Hyper Purple, and Electric Orange. The Powerbeats Pro 2 have a price tag of Rs 29,900 in India.
“Powerbeats Pro 2 are the most groundbreaking product of Beats’ history made for intense workouts and packed with the newest technology and most powerful sound,” said Oliver Schusser, vice president of Music, Sports and Beats of Apple. “With Heart Rate Monitoring for workout, Active Noise Cancellation, and Transparency mode, Powerbeats Pro 2 redefines audio in fitness.” To detect heart rate, the Pro 2 employs LED optical sensors integrated in each bud.
These sensors pulse over a hundred times a second to gauge blood flow. The data is then fine-turned into heartbeats and subsequently sent to a compatible app. Just like every other apple product, the Powerbeats Pro 2 works best when used with an iPhone or other apple’s products. Inside, it has the Apple H2 which provides up to 45 hours with the charging case. While on the subject of case, it too has received some significant updates.
It has now the capability of charging the buds faster. Five minutes of charging equals 90 minutes of playback time, all while the case is 35 percent smaller. In addition, the Powerbeats Pro 2 case is also the first Beats case to support wireless charging.
