Grand Theft Auto 6 is still set for a fall 2025:
For the bigger credit titles being marked in the year 2025, the most glaring one is Grand Theft Auto 6. My fears of a potential delay have been put to rest, as Take-Two has once again reaffirmed a release window for Fall 2025. In regards to the next Grand Theft Auto title, it is one of the most waited upcoming GTA PC games. It seems surreal that we are just a matter of months away from seeing the new installment from lenching our teeth for a decade.
The level of demand, excitement, and fever pitch that surrounds this next iteration is astonishing. Straight from a quarterly earnings report, Take-Two CEO and chairman Strauss Zelnick stated during the firm’s conference call that GTA 6 is scheduled for a set release date in Fall 2025. He places it in a burning order, adding to Civilization 7, Mafia: The Old Country, and Borderlands 4 while placing this installment right before Borderland 4.
They might all be big projects in their own capacity, but Grand Theft Auto 6 stands out among the rest. Its the type of release that gets everyone in the industry waiting anxiously for a date to be scheduled. EA even stated that it is ready to alter the next Battlefield if certain things happen in the industry with the belief that the launching of GTA 6 is the most crucial unknown factor of all. Hence From this excerpt there was no other reference to Rockstar’s franchise in the earnings call.
So, we do not have any information on when we might get more about Grand Theft Auto 6. The first trailer was released in late 2023 and ever since, there has not been any news. However, the development of GTA 6 is already an incredible feat and Take-Two and Rockstar do not need a date to announce. They can reserve it for whenever they want. For now, it does appear there could be a visit to Leodina, the Floridian setting for Grand Theft Auto 6, some time later this year.
