Xiaomi India has officially teased the launch date of its upcoming Xiaomi 15 series. The Xiaomi 15 and 15 Ultra are scheduled to be released in India on March 2.

Xiaomi has finally confirmed that the Xiaomi 15 series is set to launch in India on March 2. On this day, the company is expected to introduce two models: 15 and 15 Ultra. While the company hasn’t provided much details, some leaks have suggested the specs of the smartphone. In addition, the path was already set for the Indian variant as the phones were simultaneously launched in China last October.

Abhishek Yadav, a notable tipster, took first to X (formerly Twitter) proposing his design for the phones. As per the leaks, Ultra variant will be available in three colors : Black, White, and a Black and White Panda variant.

Both the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra are expected to come with a base configuration of 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, with options available to upgrade to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, like their Chinese counterparts. The Xiaomi 15 may come with an OLED display of about 6.36 inches, have an inline screen resolution of 1.5k, and feature ultrasonic fingerprint recognition.

Its screen comes with ultra-sharp bezels that are 1.38 mm thin and has a massive battery capacity of 5,500 mAh, allowing for fast charging of up to 90W wired and 50W wirelessly. It is likewise anticipated that the Xiaomi 15 will showcase a Leica-branded 50-megapixel main camera, 32 MP in the front, and a complementary triple camera set up on the back.It is powered by HyperOS 2.0, which has Android 15 within it.
