Tata Motors launched Altroz Racer
Tata Motors launched Altroz Racer :Tata Motors, India’s leading automotive manufacturer, today announced the launch of the Altroz Racer – the more powerful and sporty model of the company’s premium hatchback. Tata Motors launched Altroz Racer with 1.2 L Turbo petrol engine for more power and performance in this model.
This model comes with race car inspired exterior and interior look coupled with a power of 120 Ps @ 5500 rpm and torque of 170 Nm @ 1750 to 4000 rpm, this sporty evolution of the Altroz promises an experience of powerful and premium hatchback.
Let us tell you that, for the first time Altroz Racer was presented to the world by the company at the 2023 Auto Expo. After that it was launched in India Mobility Expo a few months ago. This car includes new graphics along with many advanced features that make it more sporty and better than the regular model.
Look and Desigen
The company has made Altroz Racer more sporty. Racing stripes can be seen from the bonnet to the roof of the car. Apart from this, ‘RACER’ badging has been given on the front fender and a little change is also seen in the grill.
The company has given 16 inch alloy wheel in this car However, no change is seen in it. Orange accent has been used a lot in the cabin which makes its interior sporty.
Power And Performance
Tata Motors has used a 1.2 liter 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine in its new car. Which generates 120Ps of power and 170Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox.
This is a better edition as the regular iTurbo engine gets a 5-speed manual transmission option. This car will mainly compete with Hyundai i10 N Line in the market.
Features And Colour Options
In Altorz Racer, the company has 360-degree camera system, 26.05 cm touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto, Features like Electronic Stability Control (ESC), 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, sunroof and 6 airbags are included.
This car comes in a total of three variants, which include R1, R2 and R3. Apart from this, this car is offered in three colors. Which includes Pure Grey, Atomic Orange and Avenue White.

Speaking on the launch of Tata Altroz Racer, Vivek Srivats, Chief Commercial Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited said “Strengthening the Altroz line up, we are very excited about the launch of the Altroz Racer. This is a car that is designed to make the daily drive full of adventure. This car is equipped with many advanced features in the segment.”
