The MacBook Air M4
Apple has debuted its new MacBook Air M4 13-inch and MacBook Air 15-inch models in India, which are supported by the latest M4 chip and feature the all-new “Sky Blue” color option. The main attraction of this launch is that the new MacBook Air models are substantially cheaper than their earlier versions. The 13-inch MacBook Air M4’s base price is Rs 99,900, while the 15-inch model is available for Rs 124,900.
It means that the new MacBook Air M4 version is cheaper than last year’s models; for example, the 13-inch version of last year’s model started at Rs 114,900 and the 15-inch one at Rs 134,900, but the new version is cheaper “It now has an affordable starting price of just $999 (approx. Rs 86,800), that is $100 (approximately Rs 8,700) less than before and $899 (approx. Rs 78,100) for education, making it the perfect choice for customers who want to enjoy in high-quality.
The new MacBook Air lineup has been introduced with a new colour option called “Sky Blue.” This finish joins the existing colours (midnight, Starlight, and Silver) and features a light metallic blue shade that creates a shifting gradient effect when hit by light. Along with this new colour, Apple also provides colour-matched MagSafe charging cables with all models.
Apple has also upgraded the Thunderbolt ports from Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 4, offering better connectivity options, including support for two external displays while keeping the laptop’s screen active. Additionally, the new models retain the MagSafe 3 charging port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and stereo speakers for improved audio output.
The refreshed MacBook Air models are now available for pre-order and will be available in stores starting March 12.
